Last-Minute Tips to Crack UGC NET June 2019

Every year the competition level is increasing. To defeat your competitors, you should plan some good strategies this will make easy for you to crack UGC NET 2019. Below are some of the tips to qualify the exam:


  • Manage Your Time

UGC NET consist of 300 questions for 180 minutes; on average, you can give 1 minute for each answer. In this case, you should maintain your speed and time.
Maximum time will be consumed in your specialization subject as it is knowledge based. Don’t spend more than 2 minutes on a question.


  • Prefer Basic Books for Specialised Subject

Don’t rush to buy the books suggested by your friends. Teachers, Toppers, Experts suggest to prefer basic books which you learnt in your graduation and post-graduation.


  • Solve Previous year papers/Sample papers

NTA is the conducting body for UGC NET exam. From, June 2019 changed the exam pattern. There will be no break between Paper-1 and Paper-2.
So, keeping this in mind, you need to practice the previous year paper by maintain the speed.


  • Don’t get confused to choose the answers

Although there is no negative marking in the UGC NET exam but still you need to be very focused. You must be very sure with every answer you choose.


  • Remember Important Formula

Paper-1 consist of the reasoning and quantitative section which are formula based. You are suggested to learn formulas. Forgetting the formulas on the exam is the problem of most of the aspirants because of examophobia. To reduce the stress, write and learn the formulas, this will help you to remember all the formulas on the D day.


  • Give enough time to solve Mock Paper and set time

Whenever you practice your UGC NET mock test paper. Choose a time frame as per the examination timings. For instance, if the exam is conducted between 14:30 to 17:30. Then self-conduct a test during that time so, that you will get acquainted with the environment of that duration and time.


  • Avoid Getting Pressurised

Every student/aspirant aiming to achieve success in exam experiences the exam stress. You can’t avoid this phase because its existence involves a reason.
Now you have to choose, whether you use it as a breakdown of your confidence level or to improve your performance.
You have to find out the reason behind your stress, it might be any of the following:

  • Lack of motivation
  • Lack of preparation or

Hey Aspirants!!

Hope you all are doing well and putting your 100% to clear your ambitious dream exam. 

Today, here we will discuss all the important guideline which you should keep in your mind on the Exam day that is 5th May 2019.

You must be aware of this fact that year by year the competition level of the NEET Exam is increasing. For 2019, a total number of registrations filled by the aspirants is 15.19 lakh whereas in the year 2018 the total number of registration was approx. 13.5 lakh.

From this year the NEET Exam will be conducted in a single shift. The exam timings will be 1400hrs to 1700hrs.

Aspirants admission in the medical colleges will be based on their NEET score only.

NTA will release the NEET Admit Card 2019 from 15th April 2019.

General Instruction – Important Guidelines

Aspirants are suggested to visit the exam centre a day before if possible. This way you can save time on the exam day.

Aspirants have to carry just 3 items with them which includes;
  

  1. Admit Card print out from the official website. 
  2. 1 passport size photograph that should the same as you uploaded at the time of the form registration.
  3. 1 Valid photo ID proof.

No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after 13:30.

Before start solving the question, get quick brief that the booklet to have contains all the pages.

Food items will be not be allowed inside the exam hall until aspirants have a prior notice with the medical condition.

Candidates are not allowed to have any interaction with the invigilators, after the exam commencement. 

The pen will be provided in the examination centre.

Dress Code – 

NTA made the specific guidelines for the dress code which are:
Aspirants are supposed to wear light colour clothes with half seelves no full seelves will be allowed.
Aspirants must ensure that they wear low heel sleeper or sandals.
Candidates who wear the cultural dress, are supposed to come before the last entry. So that they can be checked properly without creating a problem.
