NEET Exam Day Guideline
Hey Aspirants!!

Hope you all are doing well and putting your 100% to clear your ambitious dream exam. 

Today, here we will discuss all the important guideline which you should keep in your mind on the Exam day that is 5th May 2019.

You must be aware of this fact that year by year the competition level of the NEET Exam is increasing. For 2019, a total number of registrations filled by the aspirants is 15.19 lakh whereas in the year 2018 the total number of registration was approx. 13.5 lakh.

From this year the NEET Exam will be conducted in a single shift. The exam timings will be 1400hrs to 1700hrs.

Aspirants admission in the medical colleges will be based on their NEET score only.

NTA will release the NEET Admit Card 2019 from 15th April 2019.

General Instruction – Important Guidelines

Aspirants are suggested to visit the exam centre a day before if possible. This way you can save time on the exam day.

Aspirants have to carry just 3 items with them which includes;
  

  1. Admit Card print out from the official website. 
  2. 1 passport size photograph that should the same as you uploaded at the time of the form registration.
  3. 1 Valid photo ID proof.

No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after 13:30.

Before start solving the question, get quick brief that the booklet to have contains all the pages.

Food items will be not be allowed inside the exam hall until aspirants have a prior notice with the medical condition.

Candidates are not allowed to have any interaction with the invigilators, after the exam commencement. 

The pen will be provided in the examination centre.

Dress Code – 

NTA made the specific guidelines for the dress code which are:
Aspirants are supposed to wear light colour clothes with half seelves no full seelves will be allowed.
Aspirants must ensure that they wear low heel sleeper or sandals.
Candidates who wear the cultural dress, are supposed to come before the last entry. So that they can be checked properly without creating a problem.

What is NEET Exam?

What is NEET Exam?

NEET exam stands for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The aim of conducting the exam is to select the eligible candidates who wish to become a doctor in various national Government and Private Institutes.
NEET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency, commonly known as NTA. Previously the NEET exam was conducted by the CBSE but from 2019 the duties are handed over to the NTA.
The exam offers approx. 900K seats every year for MBBS and BDS colleges. NEET will be conducted on 5th May 2019.
Admit Card for NEET 2019 are coming soon. The expected date is 15th April 2019.

Check the Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology as a main subject in their 10+2.
  • The minimum required percentage for applying is 50% for general category, 45% for General PH and 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
  • Candidate who are in 12th class but if they score less than the above % their admission will be cancelled.

§  Following candidates can apply for the NEET:

  • Indian National
  • Non-Resident Indians (NRI) 
  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) 
  • Foreign Nationals
§  Age limit is as follow:

  • To appear in the exam the candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission as on 31st December 2019.
  • Candidate must have completed 25 years of the age as on 5th May 2018 and 5-year relaxation is provided to the reserved candidates (SC/ST/OBC).

Application Form:

Application form for the NEET 2019 are closed. For 2020, exam conducting body will soon update the information.

Exam Pattern:

Exam will be conducted for 180 minutes and 180 questions, 45 questions from each subject.
  • Physics- 45
  • Chemistry- 45
  •  Zoology- 45
  • Botany- 45
For each right answer candidates will be awarded with 4 marks and 1 will be deducted for each wrong answer.
NEET exam will be conducted in offline mode i.e. (pen pare based)
NEET will be conducted in 11 languages, as follows:

Qualifying Percentile:
  • 50% for General Category

Dress Code:

The exam conducting authorities made the strict rules for the appearing candidates related with the dress code. The rule is implemented to reduce the cheating.

Dress code is as follows:

  • Candidates must wear light colour clothes with half sleeves.
  • Footwear could be sleeper or sandals but that must be low heel, and shoes are not allowed in any case.
  • Candidates who wear the cultural dress must come 1 hour early before the last reporting time to have a proper check-up by the exam authority.
